Arriving in the U.S. in 1991, Salim began his American journey working as a house cleaner and gardener. Over the years, his determination and hard work propelled him to establish his own medical devices company, transforming his modest beginnings into entrepreneurial success.

Proudly, Salim recalls, “I started working in houses, washing cars, and trimming gardens. I was shy to ask my family for help, preferring to earn my own money to buy what I needed.”

“I was fired even though I was loyal and had a medical degree,” he explains. This challenge inspired him to create his own company, producing devices designed to treat back problems non-surgically, improving spinal health through professional mechanisms that relieve pressure without straining surrounding muscles.

Salim speaks passionately about his heritage: “Palestine is my blood and my roots.” He shares stories about his homeland with American colleagues, ensuring that everyone knows his deep love and connection to Palestine. Despite some warnings that asserting his Palestinian identity could expose him to discrimination, Salim believes in standing proud wherever he is.
