Incorporated in 1981, the Muslim Community Association (MCA) began with modest prayer gatherings, eventually purchasing Masjid-un-Noor in 1994. By May 2013, MCA had expanded its facilities, becoming one of the largest Islamic centers in the U.S., hosting well over 3,000 attendees at Friday (Jummah) prayers.
