Gas Prices Drop Across Michigan, Offering Relief to Summer Drivers
Fuel Costs Fall by 10 Cents Per Gallon Amid Stable Demand and Lower Oil Prices.

Gasoline prices in the state of Michigan have dropped by approximately 10 cents per gallon compared to last week, according to a weekly report from AAA – the American Automobile Association.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Michigan is now $3.13 — about 6 cents less than one month ago, and 56 cents less than the same time last year. This means that filling up a 15-gallon tank currently costs around $46, according to CBS News.
In the Detroit metro area, the daily average price per gallon has dropped to $3.19, a modest 2-cent decrease from the previous week, and 50 cents cheaper than this time last year.
Fuel prices continue to fall as demand remains steady and global oil prices experience slight declines. This trend provides a welcome financial break for drivers as the end of the summer season approaches.
