United Holy Land Fund Hosts Annual 2025 Gala Celebrating Arab American Unity in New Jersey
A night of culture, community pride, and support for humanitarian and educational work in Palestine.
In a warm atmosphere filled with pride and belonging, the New Jersey and New York chapters of the United Holy Land Fund held their annual dinner on Saturday evening, November 22, 2025, at the Marriott Hotel in Teaneck, New Jersey. A large number of Arab community members from New Jersey and New York attended the event, including people of Palestinian, Syrian, and Egyptian heritage, in addition to members of the organization’s Board of Directors.
The evening opened with the American and Palestinian national anthems, followed by a moving speech from Ambassador Dr. Riyad Mansour, Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations. He spoke about the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the importance of support from diaspora communities. Paterson Mayor André Sayegh also addressed the audience, praising the spirit of cooperation and humanity that distinguishes the Arab American community.

Honoring Community Leaders and Cultural Heritage
During the ceremony, the organization honored several influential individuals and institutions, including the Palestinian Community Center in Clifton, in recognition of its pioneering role in serving the community and strengthening Palestinian identity in New Jersey.
The evening continued with musical performances and dabke dances that brought joy and energy to the gathering, while attendees generously donated to support the organization’s educational and humanitarian projects in Palestine.
It is worth noting that the United Holy Land Fund has been providing scholarships and humanitarian aid to students and families in need across Palestine and the diaspora since 1968, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to its mission of serving people and supporting the resilience of the Palestinian population.
