Dearborn Heights Mayor Mo Baydoun Launches New Portal to Recruit Top Talent for City Government
The digital platform invites professionals to apply for high-paying municipal roles as part of the city’s “Transformation Plan” to boost transparency and innovation.
Dearborn Heights Mayor Mo Baydoun has launched a new digital portal aimed at attracting skilled professionals and community experts to work in city government. The initiative is part of his broader plan to restructure the local administration and enhance transparency and efficiency.
The portal, available at DearbornHeightsTransformation.com, allows applicants to apply for government positions with salaries of up to $100,000. The application window will remain open until Wednesday, November 20, 2025.
During a press conference held on Monday, Baydoun said:“Dearborn Heights is undergoing a pivotal moment in its history. We are seeking the best and brightest minds to help move our city forward. This is about building a government that operates with transparency, accountability, and efficiency.”
This initiative falls under the “Dearborn Heights Transformation” plan, which aims to modernize administrative processes and build a forward-thinking leadership team.
Dearborn Heights to Announce “Transformation Team” and Citizen Advisory Group
Later this week, the city is expected to announce the formation of a “Transformation Team” and a Citizen Advisory Group, which will include community leaders and specialists who will provide recommendations on improving public services and identifying long-term development opportunities.
Baydoun emphasized that this effort will “create opportunities for collaboration between the city government and the residents it serves, fostering a shared vision for Dearborn Heights’ success and future.”
The available positions span multiple areas within public administration and are open to applicants from diverse professional backgrounds, whether residents of Dearborn Heights or from outside the city. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to public service values, innovation, and teamwork.
