Founded on August 1, 1988, the Islamic Center of Charlotte (ICC) has been a cornerstone of spiritual growth, community service, and cultural unity for Muslims in Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally known as the Islamic Society of Masjid Al-Islam, the organization officially changed its name to the Islamic Center of Charlotte on May 21, 1992, marking the beginning of a new era of expansion and community engagement.
